Richard Jones is president of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services. He took on the role in April 2010, following a career in social care spanning thirty years. He is currently executive director, adult and community services, for Lancashire County Council, a post he has held since 2003. Richard is former assistant chief inspector for the Social Services Inspectorate in the Northwest, where he was also regional chair of ADASS
