About Jenny Owen

Jenny Owen is president of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services, and executive director for adults, health and community wellbeing at Essex County Council. She is a trustee of the Social Care Institute for Excellence, and has occupied senior positions within the former Social Services Inspectorate. During 2007/08 Jenny co-chaired the National Dementia Strategy with Sube Banerjee. She has formerly worked for Hertfordshire County Council and the London Borough of Islington.
